At VANA, we see protecting the planet as our responsibility. When developing our body care range, we set our sights on generating no new plastic, choosing 100% recyclable rPET (recycled polyester) for our bottles. This reduces plastic waste and helps sustain a circular economy — a positive cycle that reflects VANA’s mission to minimise our carbon footprint.

Finding sustainable partners: building a greener future

When we decided to expand our body care range, we knew that finding a like-minded partner was essential. After extensive research, we found a partner in Denmark who shares VANA’s passion for sustainability. Together, we created products that nourish the skin and are certified by the Vegetarian Society, ensuring that no animal-derived ingredients are used in any formula.

The products also use RSPO-certified sustainable palm oil. Sustainable palm oil production involves management that is legal, economically viable, environmentally responsible and socially beneficial. From the inside out, the products represent another step in VANA’s commitment to ethical and sustainable practices.

Continuing to improve quality and care

At VANA, we work hard to ensure that our body care products are considerate of the environment and draw on natural ingredients with caring properties. For example, Midsummer Dream body lotion is formulated with horsetail extract to help accelerate skin renewal. Sage, rosemary and nettle leaf offer antioxidant and antibacterial properties; mint, chamomile and hops provide a soothing effect; and rapeseed oil and shea butter moisturise and soften the skin.
